Some phenomenal new limited time welcome bonuses have just been launched on co-branded Delta Amex cards. While Delta SkyMiles is a long way from my preferred mileage currency, I at least appreciate that miles in the program have a minimum value based on all opportunities to redeem SkyMiles for one cent each for Delta purchases.
That makes these bonuses potentially pretty rewarding considering how much travel they could bring you.
Delta Amex bonuses have improved through April 28, 2021
There are new limited time bonuses for six Delta Amex cards that are valid until April 28, 2021. These bonuses are some of the best offers we’ve seen on these cards. Some of these bonuses include redeemable miles, elite miles, and even statement credits.

How many Delta Amex cards are you eligible for?
Each of these Delta American Express cards is considered a separate product and you are entitled to the bonus once for each card. In other words, you could get both the business and personal versions of gold, platinum, and reserve over time, which opens up a lot of possibilities. This means that a large majority of people should be eligible for the bonuses on at least some of these cards.
The standard rules for the Amex card application apply.
Which Delta Amex offer is the best?
Which Delta Amex deal is best depends entirely on what you are looking for and what your travel profile is like. As far as my general advice goes:
- If you’re just the casual Delta Flyer, it’s hard to go wrong with the big bonuses and first year waiver fees on the Delta Gold Cards
- For those who fly Delta a little more often, the Delta Platinum Cards are great given the annual accompanying certificate
- For the frequent flyer seeking status, the Delta Reserve Cards offer 20,000 bonus MQMs, which is potentially huge
- In general, if you are choosing between a personal and business card (and don’t want both) I would recommend a business card as the offers include a bank statement credit as well
Please note that Delta’s “Pay With Miles” feature allows you to redeem your SkyMiles for at least one cent each for the cost of a Delta ticket. That means that with 70,000 to 90,000 SkyMiles you will get a flight fare of at least $ 700 to $ 900, and that doesn’t even include the other aspects of those bonuses.
Bottom line
Until April 28th, 2021, Delta Amex cards offer enhanced bonuses that are some of the best we’ve seen. You can earn between 70,000 and 90,000 redeemable miles. In addition, some cards even offer elite miles and / or bank statement credit.
If you don’t have any Delta Amex cards yet, I highly recommend that you apply for this promotion.
