Credit card companies have offered all kinds of additional perks and rewards for spending to keep card members busy during these troubled times.
For the past few quarters, Chase has been offering time-limited, targeted spending bonuses on select cards. This trend continues as Chase appears to have just rolled out new spending premiums for the second quarter.
Chase’s card spending bonuses for 2021
Chase offers targeted spending bonuses on many of its card products that require registration. It is always worth checking regularly that your cards are eligible as offers are sometimes added even after the promotional period has started.
To see if you are eligible, simply visit Chase.com/mybonus and enter your last name, zip code and the last four digits of your card number. If you have multiple Chase cards, you will need to check your eligibility for each card individually.
The current bonus round appears to be valid for purchases made between April 1st and June 30th, 2021.
What Kind of Bonuses Should You Expect?
Different co-branded cards offer different bonuses. You can use this link to check which cards you are eligible for. These bonuses are targeted – not everyone is eligible, and even those who are eligible may receive different offers. It looks like these bonuses are specific to co-branded cards. So let me share some of the offers I see on my cards.
The World of Hyatt credit card (Review) offers 5x World of Hyatt points at grocery stores and restaurants for combined purchases up to $ 1,500.
The IHG® Rewards Club Premier Credit Card (check and IHG® Rewards Club Traveler Credit Card (Review) are offering 5x IHG Rewards Club points at grocery stores, gas stations, and drug stores for combined purchases up to $ 1,500.
The British Airways Visa Signature® card (Review), Signature of the Iberia visa® map (check and Aer Lingus Visa signature® map (Review) are offering 5x Avios in grocery stores, gas stations, and drug stores for combined purchases worth up to $ 1,500.

Earn World of Hyatt bonus points for credit card spending
Chase has some new targeted card spending bonuses between April 1st and June 30th, and you can check your eligibility here. I suspect most card members should be eligible, although it is possible that these offers are targeted for now.
In all fairness, keeping an eye on the best credit cards currently available can be a daunting task considering how competitive temporary bonus categories have become. Some of these bonus categories are great – for example, I will definitely take advantage of the bonus on the World of Hyatt Card.
