So we all know the university is going to be a little different this year! 10 p.m. Bar curfew, no house parties, and limited personal lectures (well … nobody went to them anyway!) To know what the college year will be like but life has to go on, we have 7 tips for survival compiled by the university in 2020! 1. Try your best to make friends! Meeting people will be even more difficult this year as many courses will be online and fewer activities will take place. But try your best to join socials or (as embarrassing as it feels) to message a classmate on FB! 2. Try to keep a routine! With all of the time you spend at home, make sure that you continue to have a routine, get up, make a coffee, and get some fresh air – this will keep you healthy! 3. Telephone, keys, wallet and MASK! Make sure you always have your mask and hand sanitizer with you. You never know when you will need it! 4. Stay up to date with lectures! Just because your lectures are online doesn’t mean you shouldn’t attend them! Trust me … you don’t want to lag behind them already! 5. BOOK the bars! If you’re in the mood for a quick drink, book to avoid disappointment. Bars are of a smaller capacity right now, so you may have a hard time going anywhere! 6. Check the rules! Keep up to date with the rules and regulations and make sure you know what you can and can’t do! You don’t want a heavy fine from the police! 7. Remember, have fun, but be safe !!!
